Vinegar has been known to the world for centuries. The most common way we use vinegar today, is for cooking and flavoring foods. Believe it or not, that is not the only way we could put vinegar to good use. Vinegar can be used in many useful ways other than cooking purposes that can benefit you in your daily life. Vinegar is an inexpensive yet effective solution for things such as: flavouring foods, beauty, health, household cleaning, medicinal, and hygiene.

Vinegar is commonly used as a condiment for foods. An example could be pickles, salads, and etc. Just adding a bit of vinegar could change a meal like salad, from plain to appetizing. In addition to that, vinegar is also a common ingredient in marinating foods and is used in the pickling of vegetables such as cucumbers. It can also be used for preserving foods such as meats, fishes, fruits, and vegetables too!
CleaningVinegar is also a very good cleaning agent. Vinegar does the job from hands to the house and even cars! It can kill 99% of bacteria, 80% of molds, viruses, and germs. It's antimicrobial properties are effective in eliminating E coli. Vinegar can shine chrome, clean household furniture and electronics like microwaves, stoves, sinks, counter-tops, tables, refrigerators and can also remove odor from bad smelling objects like garbage cans, lunch boxes, etc. It can also remove decals and bumper stickers on your car that are hard to remove, clean carpeting, and can even loosen chewing gum. Additionally, vinegar can also keep your car windows frost free during the cold nights with a solution of vinegar and water. This is because the acidic quality allows it to break down germs, grease, and dirt very easily.

GardeningVinegar also helps you keep your gardens clean and organized. Unwanted weeds and grasses can be easily killed in the garden by pouring white distilled vinegar on them. Vinegar can also keep those pesky critters away! It keeps ants and cats away, eliminates ant holes, and kills slugs too! All you need to do is spray a solution of vinegar to the area you want critters to stay away from or if it's an ant hole or slugs then you just need to spray vinegar directly at it.
